So I guess this would be the introduction.  I am not a writer, in fact I switched classes my junior year of high school to avoid writing a 7-page paper.  Unfortunately for me not writing was not an option when you choose to complete your degree at an online institution. In fact, everything required a paper. Math—paper, Science—lots of papers, and English—let’s just say I am now accustomed to writing. I’m not a “good” writer per se, but hell I figure as long as I use the correct “there”, “here”, and “to” I’m already ahead of the game.

Who am I? I’ve been called a teen mother, a single mother, a mom in school, an admin, a girlfriend, a fiancée, a reviewer, a mediator, and much more. I like to think of myself as a well-rounded, slightly weird, introverted extrovert. Makes perfect sense right? That’s me. I’m vulgar, blunt, opinionated as hell, but I try my hardest not to be judge-y, plain rude, or mean.

What will this be about? Honestly knowing me and my “messy mind” this will be all over the place. I love makeup, movies, and books.  Mental health is near and dear to me. My children are all girls so I’m sure there will be some interesting tales there. I love to throw parties and decorate, I’m sure there will be some of that. I can say one thing that I will not be writing about is cooking as I do none of that. I can hear the gasps now, “how do you have a family and not cook???” like they’ve never heard of Stouffer’s, pizza, or McDonalds. *eyeroll* No fronting here, I will be curt and honest as they come.

Why am I starting this blog? I love to talk but unfortunately my life doesn’t allow me to communicate with many adults.  Most of my conversations are held with my children who are 10, 7, 4, and 2. I love having conversations with my children (not other people’s children) but when your vocabulary begins to change and every other sentence is a quote from Bubble Guppies or whichever Disney movie is popular at that moment you know it’s time for a change. Basically this blog allows me to put my grown-up thoughts and ideas out there.
